Mildew spreads by dispersing microscopic spores into the air. The spores are carried to new, fertile habitats on which they settle and germinate.
While airborne mildew spores are potent in smell by comparison with other organic airborne particulates, a single spore can not be seen with the naked eye nor can it's presence be detected by the human olfactory system (sense of smell). |
